Speaking Engagements

We love sharing our perspectives and experiences and advocating for a more inclusive future. It’s not too often that people get to see the world through the eyes of youth with a disability.

Our team delivers talks at large conferences, museum events, TEDx, to private groups, and more. Our topics have included:

  • Our design work,

  • Disability + design,

  • Youth + disability empowerment

  • Identity + intersectionality, and

  • Reframing disability for empowerment.

We also offer corporate Lunch + Learn presentations to raise awareness about our work and mission. Please reach out if you’re interested in having one of our team members share their perspective at your next event.

Design Consulting

So - you’re interested in making your design process more inclusive and don’t know where to start. Or maybe you’re not having any luck connecting with the demographic you want. MJR was created to address this need.

We specialize in bringing our perspective as Gen Z’ers with disabilities to your design process, to produce more inclusive outcomes.

We work on products and services intended for a general audience, as well as assistive technologies. We can jump in at any stage in your design process, as early as initial concept brainstorming - the earlier we can get involved, the better! Our design consulting services are available on a contract basis.

If you’re curious what a design collaboration with us might look like, please drop us a line!

Disability Insight

Our society has not done us any favors when it comes to how to think or talk about disability.

We can equip you and your team with the language and mindset to empower people with disabilities, rather than ignore or pity us. Let us show you how you can treat and represent us with dignity.

We provide Disability Insight trainings for teams, and consulting services for marketing and communications. We also provide a modified version of these services for youth.

Our hope is to share our perspective so that together we can normalize and include disability in our society.
